A US- China Trade Truce (and What’s Next From the Fed)

Welcome to a new episode of Market Commentary with RFG Advisory’s Chief Investment Officer, Rick Wedell!

Markets are flashing green today following some encouraging news on the US-China front. Over the weekend, both sides hit pause on their trade conflict, agreeing to a  “Trade War Ceasefire” for a period of 90 days. And with a slew of economic information slated for release this week, investors can expect updates on inflation and commentary from several members of the Federal Reserve.

In today’s episode, Rick breaks down the data and shares why the Fed’s message will likely sound more like “déjà vu” than “brand new.”
