We’re on a mission to grow, there. We just surpassed $5 Billion in AUM and welcomed 5 new Advisor teams. Check out this month’s edition of Disruption Blueprint, where we dive into the latest industry insights, what Advisors who partner with RFG are up to, upcoming events, and more.
“We are all about independence actually meaning something,” said Shannon Spotswood, president at RFG.
“We wake up every day excited about the opportunity to help our advisors amplify their brands and maximize their own enterprise value. As we continue to expand, we remain focused on equipping our advisors with comprehensive tools and resources to provide an unforgettable client experience.”
In the first six months of the year, RFG added five new teams, including Grounded Financial Planning, operated by the grandfather-grandson duo Jamie King and Will King, CFP®; Crescent Private Wealth, founded by Ahmad Quqa; Confidence Financial Partners; AimWell Financial, run by seasoned financial advisor Amy Powell, CFA; and Cooper Tower Wealth, founded by Brittani Schaffer, CFP®, ChFC®.
For the first decade of her career, Chris Wedell didn’t think much about growth.
As an independent financial Advisor, Chris loved her job: she loved the freedom her independence provided, loved engaging with clients, and loved the intellectual challenge of helping people plan for retirement.
“I was coasting,” says Chris. “I was happy, I was successful, I was helping people. I didn’t have big ideas for growing my firm or pursuing my passions.”
That changed in 2017 when Chris was introduced to RFG Advisory. Read more about her story and how RFG helped Chris grow as an Advisor and business owner here.
Softening Labor Numbers Bode Well for Fed Interest Rate Plan
Rick Wedell, Chief Investment Officer
Market Commentary | July 9, 2024
Markets have continued to push higher recently driven by the Goldilocks economic narrative of slowing inflation without too much pain. Last week’s jobs report only reinforced this story, with all the signs of a softening labor market that should give the Federal Reserve more confidence in an eventual rate cut later this year. In this addition of our Market Commentary, Rick breaks down the numbers on jobs, explains why the economy continues to be “just right”, and talks a little bit about the dangers of too hot and too cold.

⛳ Advisor Golf Outing
Some of our Advisors recently enjoyed a beautiful day at the Greystone Country Club, engaging in friendly competition, bonding, and networking on the green. At RFG, we don’t just work hard; we play hard. Culture is at the forefront of everything we do.
